Mocambo Restaurant and Bar

Mocambo Restaurant and Bar is one of Kolkata's most iconic culinary landmarks, located on Park Street (Free School St). Established in 1956, it was originally created as a European-style fine dining venue and nightspot by Italian chef Antonio Prandhe alongside owner Shivji V. Kothari. Today, it remains a beloved institution, celebrated for keeping Kolkata’s 1950s Anglo-Indian and Anglo-European culinary traditions alive
